(hd) A traffic accident occurred in Herford on Thursday evening (11.09.2025) in which one person was injured. At around 5 p.m., a 56-year-old woman was driving her Ford Fiesta on Engerstraße in Herford in the direction of the city center. She intended to turn right into a driveway. In doing so, she overlooked a pedelec rider riding in the same direction on the cycle path. This resulted in a collision. The 56-year-old cyclist fell and sustained several injuries. He had to be taken to hospital in an ambulance. Material damage was caused to both vehicles.
